Dr. T.C. Copper Presents to the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 787

Our Executive Director, Dr. T.C. Copper, had the honor of presenting to the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 787, about the Suicide Prevention Training Institute’s Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) workshop.

ASIST is a two-day, evidence-informed training that equips participants with practical skills to recognize when someone may be at risk of suicide, engage in a supportive conversation, and help create a plan that connects them with immediate safety and ongoing support.

It was a privilege to share how this life-saving training empowers community members, organizations, and Veterans to become more confident and prepared to intervene when it matters most.
