September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month—a time to raise awareness, inspire hope, and encourage help-seeking behaviors. Suicide impacts millions of individuals, families, and communities each year, yet many people continue to struggle in silence.
The Suicide Prevention Training Institute is dedicated to providing evidence-based education that empowers community members to become advocates for suicide prevention. Through our training programs, participants learn to recognize suicide risk factors, identify warning signs, and develop effective intervention skills that can save lives.
Our goal is to make this life-saving training available at no cost to participants. Community fundraisers play a vital role in helping us achieve this mission.
